Basketball Recap: Olympian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Olympian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 55-28 loss at the hands of the Escondido Cougars. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alyssa Agpoa, who went 6-for-10 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Emerie Purong, who posted eight points and three steals.

Olympian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympian will host Shadow Hills at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Escondido, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Sage Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
