Softball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler managed to slip by Cass the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Colonels on Monday, falling 10-2. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Wheeler's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cass, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wheeler will host Cherokee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cass, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Whitfield County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
