Soccer Game Preview: Upland vs. St. Lucy's

The Upland Highlanders/Scots will face off against the St. Lucy's Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Upland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Upland's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rancho Cucamonga on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Highlanders/Scots have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, St. Lucy's entered their contest against Etiwanda on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. St. Lucy's fell 3-1 to Etiwanda. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Regents couldn't push the score so high this time.

Upland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for St. Lucy's, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4-4.
