Football Game Preview: Poland Knights vs. Freeport Falcons + Official Tickets

The Poland Knights will take on the Freeport Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Poland lost to Winthrop at home by a 21-6 margin. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Freeport). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Maranacook 42-0. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Freeport's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.4 points on average over those games. As for Poland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
