For the second straight game, Stephens County will face off against Franklin County. The Indians will head out to square off against the Lions at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.

Stephens County fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Franklin County on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Franklin County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Stephens County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.
