Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Roosevelt

Centennial is 0-9-1 against Roosevelt since January of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Centennial Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roosevelt Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Centennial's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Centennial is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Norco on Tuesday. Centennial fell just short of Norco by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt faced Santiago in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Roosevelt fell 4-2 to Santiago. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Sharks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-3.
