Football Game Preview: Douglass Mighty Ducks vs. Lewis Falcons + How To Watch

The Douglass Mighty Ducks are taking a road trip to challenge the Lewis Falcons at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Douglass came up short against Green Street Academy and fell 16-6. Despite 215 more yards than the Chargers, the Mighty Ducks couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Douglass might have lost, but man, Martin Morris was a machine: he rushed for 170 yards while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.

Even if they lost, Douglass' defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Brandon Jackson. Jackson is crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Lewis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to Edmondson-Westside.

Lewis' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Douglass, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
