Softball Recap: Coffee Beats Northside for Their Fourth Straight Win

Coffee entered their tilt with Northside on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-0 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Karlee Thomas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Channah Smith, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Coffee's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Northside, they dropped their record down to 12-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coffee will square off against Telfair County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northside, they will challenge Veterans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warhawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
