Softball Recap: Benton Academy Comes Up Short

Benton Academy and Laurel Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Benton Academy had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Lions. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Benton Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Laurel Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Benton Academy nor Laurel Christian have any future games scheduled.
