It was a proper cat-fight when Calistoga challenged Mendocino on Monday. The Wildcats walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Cardinals. Calistoga better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Elias Montanez, as he scored every single goal for his team.

The win made it two in a row for Calistoga and bumps their season record up to 7-2-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two matchups. As for Mendocino, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
