Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Clayton last Friday, Mt. Zion came back down to earth. The Mt. Zion Bulldogs fell just short of the Riverdale Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mt. Zion fell to 2-1. As for Riverdale, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will host Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give Douglass their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Riverdale, they will challenge North Clayton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be North Clayton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
