Softball Recap: Madill Has No Trouble Against Idabel

While Madill put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Idabel. The Wildcats blew past the Warriors 11-0. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 6-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Madill and bumps their season record up to 6-19. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Idabel, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Madill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-1 loss against Atoka on the 19th. As for Idabel, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McAlester at 5:00 p.m. on October 2.
