Basketball Recap: Upper Merion Area Piles Up the Points Against Daniel Boone

Upper Merion Area entered their tilt with Daniel Boone on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Daniel Boone Blazers to the tune of 42-10. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Leading Upper Merion Area to victory were Kennedy Coles and Devon Maiden. Coles almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine steals, while Maiden went 10 of 21 on her way to 21 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Coles a new career-high in steals.

Upper Merion Area was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Upper Merion Area is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Daniel Boone, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
