Baseball Recap: M.L. King Beats Creekside for Their Fourth Straight Victory

M.L. King came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Creekside Seminoles. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Evan Fulks was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Six bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Brandon Ray was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

M.L. King kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive contests.

M.L. King's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Creekside, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
