Pelham had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Brookwood on Wednesday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 13-5 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Hornets have posted against the Warriors since August 11, 2021.

Mylaisha Almond was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Pelham's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Brookwood, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
