Soccer Recap: Troup County Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Troup County and LaGrange have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. Troup County fell just short of LaGrange by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Troup County of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Troup County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for LaGrange, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Troup County will square off against Mary Persons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaGrange, they will face off against Whitewater at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitewater will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something LaGrange surely won't give up without a fight.
