Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherman Oaks CES). They blew past the East Valley Falcons, posting an 81-13 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while the Falcons are ranked 1232nd), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Esther Chong, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Sherman Oaks CES's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for East Valley, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Sherman Oaks CES didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-45 victory against Northridge Academy on the 30th. As for East Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-23 loss against Vaughn on the 30th.
