Colfax extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Madalyn Sigrist. The Falcons took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging an 85-8 win over the Mira Loma Matadors thanks in part to Sigrist, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten assists. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Belle Chu, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 14 points and three steals. She is becoming a predictor of Colfax's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is 4-1 (and 5-6 when she doesn't).

Colfax's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Mira Loma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Colfax has already played their next matchup, a 78-32 win against Wheatland on the 14th. As for Mira Loma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-6 loss against Bear River on the 14th.
