Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centerville). They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Clarinda Cardinals on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Big Reds/Redettes needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Centerville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Clarinda, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 22-14.

Centerville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Atlantic on the 12th. Clarinda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
