Wheatland managed to keep up with Marysville until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wheatland Pirates lost 4-1 to the Marysville Indians. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Wheatland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Marysville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheatland will challenge Bear River at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marysville, they will square off against Center at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
