Baseball Recap: Hiram Comes Up Short

Hiram was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Dalton Catamounts. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Catamounts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 22-7 loss on Friday.

Jory Wardlaw made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Hiram now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Dalton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Hiram wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Cartersville on the 18th. As for Dalton, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Calhoun on the 15th.
