Screven County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 12) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Bryan County Redskins 5-4. The Gamecocks haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Screven County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bryan County, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Screven County will take on Edmund Burke Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bryan County, they will challenge Long County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
