Sandia's tournament run continued when they took on Rio Rancho on Friday. Neither the Matadors nor the Rams could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Mateo Ojeda was the only thing that stood between Sandia and a shutout considering he scored both of Sandia's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.
