Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Washington Warriors. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Tupelo's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Washington, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Tupelo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Stuart on the 5th. As for Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 victory against Poteau on the 4th.
