Recap: Mendocino Cardinals vs. Contra Costa Christian Cougars
The Mendocino Cardinals won the last time they faced the Contra Costa Christian Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Mendocino came out on top against Contra Costa Christian by a score of 47-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mendocino.
Despite the loss, Contra Costa Christian still got an impressive performance from Addison Faber, who scored 25 points. The game was Faber's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hailey Terwilliger, who scored 7 points.
Mendocino now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Contra Costa Christian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-5 record last season and are now at 1-3.
Mendocino will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Willits at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. Contra Costa Christian is on the road again on Saturday and play against Pacific Bay Christian at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
