Softball Recap: Fayette Takes a Loss

Fayette was the 8-7 winner over Northeast when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 4-3 on Monday.

Brooklyn Wies was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Fayette now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Northeast, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Fayette will welcome Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast, they will head out to challenge Moberly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
