Basketball Recap: Discovery Comes Up Short

Discovery lost to Sun Valley Magnet back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 49-23 to the Pioneers.

Discovery's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sun Valley Magnet, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Discovery is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake Balboa College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sun Valley Magnet will take on rival Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
