Baseball Recap: Waldwick Takes a Loss

If Waldwick was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Manchester Regional on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Ridgefield Park Scarlets by a score of 5-4 on Saturday.

Waldwick now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Ridgefield Park, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-10.

Waldwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgefield Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bergenfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Scarlets are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
