Basketball Game Preview: Burbank Titans vs. Fairfield Falcons

The Burbank Titans will head out on the road to take on the Fairfield Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burbank has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Burbank is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Foothill for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-19 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Titans had established a 39 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Fairfield hadn't done well against Wood recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Fairfield took their game with ease, bagging a 57-24 victory over Wood. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Fairfield's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. As for Burbank, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Burbank took a serious blow against Fairfield in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, falling 53-12. Can Burbank avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
