Softball Recap: Blue River Takes a Loss

Blue River dropped down to 13-6 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Aurora Huskies, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, Blue River's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Aurora's part, the result came thanks to Josie Fink's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emely Gonzelez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Kottwitz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
