Softball Recap: Merritt Find Success

The Merritt Oilers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Roff Tigers on Saturday.

Merritt's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Roff, they dropped their record down to 19-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Merritt and Roff will both be playing Howe the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Lions at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Oilers will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
