Baseball Recap: Madison County Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Madison County's offense. They fell 3-0 to the East Forsyth Broncos on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Red Raiders seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Madison County dropped their record down to 15-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for East Forsyth, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Madison County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Forsyth, they will take on Wayne County at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
