Football Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Crestwood's game on Friday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 35-26 to the Romulus Eagles. Chargers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Friday.

Torrence Searcy was his usual excellent self, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 103 yards and two touchdowns for Romulus. Searcy's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

Crestwood's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Romulus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Crestwood will take on Melvindale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Romulus, they will challenge Garden City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
