Softball Recap: Davenport Central Takes a Loss

Davenport Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Iowa City West Trojans.

Davenport Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Iowa City West, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Davenport Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Davenport North on the 30th. As for Iowa City West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-4 victory against Mt. Pleasant on the 28th.
