Softball Recap: Lumpkin County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chestatee on Thursday, Lumpkin County came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the North Oconee Titans on Monday, falling 9-3.

Lumpkin County's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for North Oconee, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lumpkin County will challenge Stephens County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Oconee, they will square off against Flowery Branch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
