Soccer Recap: Deer Valley Takes a Loss

Deer Valley lost against Freedom back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Deer Valley Wolverines came up short against the Freedom Falcons, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 978th, while the Falcons are ranked 472nd).

Deer Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Freedom, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

As of now, neither Deer Valley nor Freedom have any future games scheduled.
