Soccer Game Preview: Pitman vs. Enochs

The Pitman Pride will head out to face off against the Enochs Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pitman comes in on five and Enochs on seven.

Pitman is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Merced with a sharp 8-1 victory back in December of 2024. Emily Martinez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Enochs kept a clean sheet against Escalon on Monday. They blew past the Cougars 8-0. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

Pitman's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Enochs, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Pitman beat Enochs 2-0 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pitman since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
