It's playoff time, and North Shelby had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cooter Wildcats on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

North Shelby's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ty Bacon, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

North Shelby hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cooter struck out 13 times.

North Shelby's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Cooter, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

As of now, neither North Shelby nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
