A Season-Best  Effort from  James Perrone Leads Southridge over Edison
 Southridge was led to victory by  James Perrone, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Saturday. Perrone threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards on only six carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Perrone might just drop another big game when he faces off against Southwest on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Perrone saw the Eagles), he threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes.

Kemari Morrison Turns in Season-Best  Performance
  Kemari Morrison produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Homestead to the win  on Friday. Morrison rushed for 107 yards on only six carries.
 Homestead's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 3-3. Morrison and Homestead will challenge Booker T. Washington at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Southridge Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to  Darius Clements
 Southridge picked up their sixth consecutive win   on Saturday thanks in part to  Darius Clements. Clements produced his best game of the campaign : he picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 For the year,  Clements  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 63.2 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 35.17  receiving yards per game.

 While Southwest might've come up empty  on Friday,  Derrick Ferguson wasn't going down without a fight. Ferguson was unstoppable, rushing for 53 yards.
 This season,  Ferguson  has averaged 122.8 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 60.33  rushing yards per game.

Jayson Lopez Has Career-Day  on Friday
  Jayson Lopez posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 85 yards.
 Doral Academy has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record  this season. Lopez and Doral Academy will play host again  on Thursday to welcome Coral Springs, where kickoff is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.
