Softball Recap: Laney Takes a Loss

Laney lost against Josey back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 29-11.

Laney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Josey, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

While Laney had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
