Basketball Recap: Glenwood City Triumphs

After losing to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser the last time they met, Glenwood City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hilltoppers walked away with a 57-50 victory over the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hilltoppers.

Tori Ohman was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double with 17 points and 19 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirah Krueger, who posted eight points and 13 rebounds.

Glenwood City's record is now 2-0. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Glenwood City is set to square off against their familiar foe Boyceville at 7:15 p.m. on December 4. Meanwhile, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will challenge rival Elmwood/Plum City at 7:00 p.m. on December 4.
