Soccer Recap: Mt. Carmel's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mt. Carmel walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mission Hills Grizzlies on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Sundevils were the better team in the second half.

Mt. Carmel's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10. As for Mission Hills, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-3 record.

Looking ahead, Mt. Carmel will take on Patrick Henry at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Patrick Henry will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mt. Carmel surely won't give up without a fight. Mission Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
