Baseball Recap: Miller County Takes a Loss

Blountstown hit Miller County with a five-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Miller County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blountstown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller County will take on Worth County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Blountstown, they will challenge Port St. Joe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
