Baseball Recap: Wilcox County Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Wilcox County won the last time they faced Telfair County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wilcox County Patriots put the hurt on the Telfair County Trojans with a sharp 9-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Deacon McDuffie was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Cade Keene also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.

McDuffie wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Wilcox County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. Wilcox County is a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
