Dynamic duo of Mikayla Coleman and Lauralye Kennedy lead Northeastern to victory

Recap: Northeastern Bobcats vs. Donegal Indians

The Northeastern Bobcats can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 69-43 margin over Donegal. Given Northeastern's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Donegal is ranked 511th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Northeastern to victory were Mikayla Coleman and Lauralye Kennedy. Coleman scored 20 points along with seven assists and six steals, while Kennedy scored 18 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Colleen Finnegan, who scored nine points along with three blocks and two steals.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Donegal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Northeastern's road trip will continue as they head out to face Delone Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Delone Catholic is coming into the game with seven straight victories at home, meaning Northeastern will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Donegal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
