Softball Recap: Blessed Trinity Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Blessed Trinity extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 9-8. They came up short against the Cambridge Bears, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-1 defeat on September 4th.

As for Cambridge, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3. Considering they have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Cambridge's part, Annie Womack was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs Womack has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Clements, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Looking ahead, Blessed Trinity will take on Cherokee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cambridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
