Baseball Recap: Tattnall County Takes a Loss

Tattnall County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appling County Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

Tattnall County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Brock, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Tattnall County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Appling County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

While Tattnall County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
