Baseball Recap: Fairland Comes Up Short

Fairland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the St. Joseph Central Flyers.

Fairland's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for St. Joseph Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Fairland is taking a road trip to face off against Wellston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Joseph Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
