High Point Christian Academy won the last time they faced New Garden Friends and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars managed a 61-55 victory over the Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead High Point Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jysen Seymore, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 17 points and six steals. Sonne Williams was another key player, going 7-for-14 en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

High Point Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for New Garden Friends, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, High Point Christian Academy will face off against High Point Central at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for New Garden Friends, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westchester Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
