Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Regents vs. Menlo School Knights

Notre Dame hasn't had much luck against Menlo School recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Notre Dame Regents will host the Menlo School Knights at 6:30 p.m. Menlo School took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Notre Dame, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, the Regents earned a 54-41 win over the Tigers. The Regents haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Menlo School has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Priory on Friday. The matchup was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but the Knights couldn't quite close it out.

Defeat or not, Menlo School got some senior leadership from Ruiqi Liu and Karen Xin. Liu went 6-for-14 to rack up 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Xin almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Xin a new career-high in rebounds.

Menlo School's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for the Regents, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
